2. The Quick Version
We process your bank transaction-alert emails via Gmail (read-only), turn them into spending insights, and never sell your personal data. Full details follow.
3. Information We Collect

4. Gmail Limited-Use Compliance
Dollah’s use of Gmail data adheres to Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Dollah connects to your Gmail account to automatically identify financial transaction alerts (e.g., purchase confirmations, payment receipts). We request read-only access and do not store your full emails. Only essential information like the amount, merchant, and transaction date are saved to help you track your spending.
5. How We Use Your Data
- Display real-time spending dashboards
- Generate categories, charts, and export files
- Send optional spend summaries or nudges (you can disable)
6. How We Do Not Use Your Data
- No ads, no sale or rental of personal info
- No scraping of contact lists or email bodies unrelated to transactions
- No automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects
7. Data Retention
Transaction data persists until you delete your account or use Settings → Delete my data. Back-ups are purged within 30 days.

9. Security
- 256-bit SSL/TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest
- OAuth 2.0 for Gmail; we never store your Google password
10. Children
Dollah is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have data from a child, we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
Data may be processed outside your country. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
12. Changes
Material updates will be emailed to you and posted here at least 14 days before they take effect.
